Crayons
For Mexico |
|
| Many of the poorest children in Mexico do not go to school because their parents cannot afford the necessary uniform and supplies like paper, pencils, and crayons to help their children learn. Jay Shideler will have boxes available at the front of the school during the last week of school for any donated (new or used) crayons and/or supplies. These will be sorted and distributed to these needy children and orphans who often live in very rural areas of Mexico. |

These crayons bring much delight to the children. For many of them, it is their first opportunity to put color on paper. Some boys and girls learn eye and hand coordination for the first time. The need for crayons is ongoing. This is a volunteer collection effort and any crayons students wish to donate are fine and very much appreciated. Thanks for considering a way for children to help other children. Sincerely,
